Getting started

From download to your first unlocked trading session in six steps. Each step links to a full guide with screenshots. Set aside about fifteen minutes and do it when you are not about to trade.

The five steps

  1. Join and have your call with Penny. The app is installed after your private 1-hour onboarding call. Your download link arrives by email once the call is done.
  2. Install the app on your Mac or Windows PC. One admin password prompt on both; Windows also shows a one-time SmartScreen prompt. Two minutes.
  3. Create your account and activate your membership. Sign up with your email and enter the 6-digit code we send. Use the same email you paid with and the app unlocks itself, or enter an access code if you were given one. Two minutes.
  4. Finish onboarding. Nine short steps: About You, Connect Your Platform, Your Struggles, Your Strategy, A+ Setups, Interests, Cooldowns, Your Accounts, Lock It In. Fifteen minutes, at your trading computer. This is the part to take seriously.
  5. Know your platform connection: the one-time setup for each platform, adding a second platform in Settings, and what the app does once it can see your trades. Five minutes of reading.
  6. Run your first morning ritual: connect, a guided meditation, review your setups, write your commitment. Trading unlocks. About six minutes, every trading day.

How a normal day works

Every day starts locked. The badge is red and the Dashboard says trading is locked; your platform is open, but anything you trade gets closed on fill. You run the ritual, the badge turns green, and you trade your plan. After every trade the app pauses you for a cooldown with a meditation and asks you to classify the trade. Hit a daily limit and that account is done for the day. Nothing to remember, nothing to decide in the heat of the moment. The app holds the line you drew.

The Dashboard guide walks through what you see during the day, and Locks, cooldowns & lockouts explains each pause and lock.

Three things new users get wrong

  • Typing the platform account name loosely. It has to match your platform exactly, like APEX-123456. It is what links live trades to the right account.
  • Trading while the badge is red. Red means trading is blocked: ritual not done, cooldown running, outside your hours, or locked for the day. Your platform stays open so you can watch and mark up charts, but any trade you place is closed the moment it fills. Green before you click.
  • Setting the rules in a hurry. The rules you lock in cannot be loosened until the lock ends. Set them calm, set them honest.
